In 2022, we took on this beautifully historic mansion, situated just off Bannau Brycheiniog (formerly known as the Brecon Beacons). The property had been abandoned for a few years, but with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers, we breathed new life into it to continue the legacy of providing residential and outdoor experiences that had started in 1971.
From the outset, we began receiving unexpected visitors to the centre, each with various connections to its past. It soon became clear that we were working within a long tradition of people who had cherished and grown alongside this building. This work became a service not only to its future but also to honouring those who had loved it before us.
The site itself is just one small grain of sand in the effort to make your stay magical; we share a piece of our home, and therefore our heart, with you, our visitors.
